Principles

The protection of your personal data is important to us. We process your data exclusively on the basis of the applicable legal provisions (GDPR, Austrian Data Protection Act) and treat it confidentially.

Data processing in the course of treatment

To fulfil the treatment contract and statutory documentation duties, we process health data, master data and contact details of our patients. Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) as well as Art. 9(2)(h) GDPR. Your data is stored for the duration of the statutory retention periods.

Contacting us

If you contact us by phone, email or via the callback form on this website, the data you provide is stored for the purpose of handling your enquiry and possible follow-up questions. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not share this data without your consent.

Spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)

To protect the callback form against abusive automated use, we use “Turnstile” provided by Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). It checks whether the input is made by a human. For this purpose, Cloudflare processes technical information (including IP address and browser data). According to the provider, Turnstile does not use tracking cookies and does not use the data for advertising purposes. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure, spam-free operation of the form (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Further information can be found in the Cloudflare privacy policy.

Website & server log files

When you visit the website, the hosting provider processes technically necessary access data (e.g. IP address, date and time of access) in server log files; this is required for the secure operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The typefaces used are served locally from our own server – no data is transmitted to third parties in the process.

Web analytics (Google Analytics)

This website uses – only with your consent – Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google Analytics uses cookies that allow an analysis of how the website is used (e.g. pages viewed, approximate location, device used). These cookies, and any transfer of data to Google, are only set or triggered after you click “Accept” in the cookie notice. No analytics take place without your consent.

The IP address is processed in anonymised form; advertising and cross-device features (Google signals, ad personalisation) are disabled. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by clicking “Cookie settings” in the website footer and selecting “Decline”, or by deleting the relevant cookies in your browser. Using Google Analytics may involve a transfer of data to Google servers in the USA; Google relies on appropriate safeguards for this (including EU standard contractual clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework). Further information can be found in the Google privacy policy.

Your rights

You generally have the rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you may lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority.
